Yep my mistake. Still think Fabregas is better at through balls and generally being a playmaker. Both are terrible at defending though
I still think you need a bit of pace, and from what I've seen Matic isn't that slow. Even Gerrard at his age can move when he needs to. I get the point about seeing danger and positioning yourself to cut it out, but if a team is flying at you, you need a bit of pace otherwise you could easily be caught out of position. The argument is that not many teams counter with immense speed, so it gives the slower DM's the perfect time to adjust their positions.
He's past his sell by date Purley. Can't handle the pressure of big games. A few years ago, when he was supposedly at his best, and Roy Keane was, according to the press, in decline. The game at Anfield was hyped up as Gerrard as the new top dog in midfield. Keano made him look a novice
Both fabulous players tbf, although we did manage to keep Fabregas fairly quiet on Saturday ... they are different mind, Fabregas is more of a playmaker in the traditional sense - very useful shielding the back four as well as pulling the strings- Di Maria definitely less capable defensively but one hell of an attacking threat (don't think he is amongst the best finishers) but will create bucket loads of chances ...
Fair play to him Considering La Liga is a 3 team league - can you see him producing similar results on a cold windy night in Stoke? That's not a dig, as I have full respect for a player that made the 2nd most assists in a league consisting of 3 teams
Sky say this..... http://www1.skysports.com/football/...39m-fee-for-real-madrid-winger-angel-di-maria
Disappointing for all the other players in those three teams that they weren't able to do the same. They've let everyone down, especially you and your zip.
United saving football by bringing in quality players. Last season final day had. 70% drop in interest compared with a man utd press conference. Bigger than the premier league. trap set
