Tottenham enjoyed a fruitful afternoon as they hosted Harry Redknapp's Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

Here are the top five statistics from the Sunday's encounter between Tottenham and Queens Park Rangers:

    1) After assisting only one goal in his first 10 Premier League appearances for Tottenham, Erik Lamela was able to assist two goals in 7 minutes against QPR. The Argentine winger completed six (of ten) attempted take ons, whilst creating three chances for his side. In Mauricio Pochettino's first competitive home match, he emerged as the stand-out player for the Lilywhites.

    2) Despite Lamela final assist tally, Emmanuel Adebayor proved the most creative player on pitch, orchestrating four key passes in total. He played an instrumental role in his side's opening goal, clipping in a perfectly weighted cross for Nacer Chadli to bring down and strike. The Togo international also won more contests than any other player, recovering the ball on seven occasions.

    3) Chadli's second goal of the match had a build-up of 48 passes (double the longest Premier League goal in 2013-14 season). He finished the match on a brace having hit the target from 100% of his attempts as Spurs ran riot against their bewildered opponents. He also completed 93% of his total attempted passes.

    4) Etienne Capoue recorded an incredible 131 touches of the ball in this match, controlling possession on more occasions than any other player. He also fashioned the highest pass total, attempting to find a Spurs team-mate 121 times, 108 of which proved accurate. By full-time he had recorded a pass completion rate of 89%.

    5) Spurs have now scored three, or more, goals in each their last five top flight appearances at White Hart Lane. This latest 4-0 victory sees them assume first place in the Premier League table, leading London rivals Chelsea on goal difference.

It really wasn't a fair contest, they wouldn't let us have the ball.

sorry, but they are a class above in almost department. I think we made them look good but still a class act. I was really not even that suprised by that performance, because we have been watching those kids of performances for years!. The last two seasons we had in the prem was a disaster and just seems like history repeating itself. Random players bunched together and lets face it,most of them are not really god enough to compete at this level. At least in the championship we could compete. Anyway,I'm off for lunch!
