Shouldn't focus on like for like comparisons. One player may not be as good as the player they have replaced, but the team as a whole could still be better. Fingers crossed.

36 year old artur. No wonder we're getting rid. He was only 32 when he joined us two years ago.

It's an annoying habit with Artur. Every time I look at his age he keeps getting older. I've looked 4 times. I don't want to overdo it.

 

Bakary Sako? No rumours, but always thought he looked very decent when I have seen Wolves. Some will say, we need better, but would be a good option and shoots on sight.

 

He's basically Townsend. Neither of whom I rate.

Jesssuuuuus that's far far too much money.

 

We do need another attacking player no doubt, and as it is near the end of the window, £12m seems a likely amount. It's been window full of over inflated prices, and this may be yet another one.

As a side note, is Lennon available? He's a good little winger, albeit that he has gone off the radar a bit in the last few seasons. Has pace though, and would be good I think, but i'm saying that about everyone at the moment.

 

If they're coming from the premier league and especially from a top 7 club then they're going to have question marks or baggage as they've not been able to impress at that level.
If they come from abroad or the lower leagues then we'll have to factor in adaption time.

This next signing for the club is potentially massive in terms of where our season sits. Currently it looks like goals will be hard to come by and the season could be a struggle. If we can get ourselves in a match winner then we might be looking at a top 10 finish

I like this rumour.

 

I'd love this to happen but after a google search it looks like Arsenal are in for him and have been for a while.

 

SSN saying we have bid £12m for Townsend.

 

Saw that last night, but Spurs saying not for sale. Can't see this happening, nless Townsend is dying to come to us (and why would he). We are not Spurs favourite team, are we?
