I was sure he was looking to shaft us however he got the Young dive spot on. Other refs would have given a top four pen.
It was the only bloody decision he did get right !!! Because every 50/50 decision went the way of united !!!
So body needs to give that cheating ****er young a slap. Every time he's up here he throws himself about like Tom ****ing Daley
Will they ever be the same without him? They are a complete different team without taggert at the helm
Some of the players look like they've had their crutches snatched away from hem and are struggling to walk, let alone run.
Their predicament now shows just how good a manager he was. There were seasons where other teams had better squads and he still got the job done and won titles. I think it will be a long time like we see another one like him. I always thought he was a bit of a prick but you can't help respect what he achieved
It was exactly as Van Gaal said, there was contact but he over exaggerated it and he was stupid for doing that, moments earlier Robin Van Persie was hacked down in the box and that was a blatant penalty. Saying that, Buckley was through on goal after Dickhead Cleverley slipped and the ref stopped the game, so I've no complaints, apart from the fact I think the game was truly awful from start to finish. Young can **** off as far as I'm concerned, and take Cleverley with him, that guy isn't fit for professional football.
Disagree with you there Terry, Vergini played the ball and VP fell over him, and this is not a penalty. However personally I think tackling from behind should be made illegal, and any grapelling or holding should be penalised, at the moment they do it knowing they will get away with it.
The problem with young was he could have beaten brown and had a go at goal. Stupidly he was only interested in winning a pen. He looked to play the ball then jump into brown for the pen. Just play football you gimp. For something that blatant I think he should be suspended for 3 games. As for van Persie, vergini got the ball, quite what Cattermole was doing is anyone's guess lol. I don't think we have got started yet. A few good signings this week and I think this season could be ready for take off.
Spot on mate, although you'd never believe we had new players making debuts etc by the commentary. It was like watching MUTV, all the talk afterwards was 75% United. Young knew exactly what he planned to do when he got the ball and had no intention of going for goal, very poor tbh. The young lad Januzaj is another diver but without Ferguson, to rant on the touchline, the refs just aren't buying their **** antics any more. Van Gaal is one of the most dreary people I've ever heard, how he motivates players is a mystery. When he was being interviewed I kept thinking, 'FFS, just get to the ****ing point mate'
Young saw brown coming and left his leg in there expecting contact but Wes was too canny for him and knew he was a cheating twat. Vergini got the ball all day and it was never a penalty. He really impressed me yesterday hopefully we can sort out who owns him and get him signed as he will be a bargain
I hope his and Mannone's debuts have taught us all a lesson and we'll allow other new players the time to settle in.
There was some hard tackling from Man u, if Cattermole had done that the card would have been out ! I like Vergini, he gets forward and has a go and if Borini/Welbeck/Kalou ? are signed we will be great.
Blatant cheating from Young, but I wasn't impressed to see Gomez doing exactly the same thing when he could have got a shot on goal. Diving needs to be dealt with as its ruining the game.
I thought that Man U got away with murder in the 1st half without getting a single yellow card..Cattermole would have been booked for anyone of at least half a dozen of those challenges.
Agree 100% mate, I don't want to see that **** from Sunderland. Buckley could've gone down half a dozen times but stayed on his feet and created chances. I'm sure Poyet will have a quiet word with Gomez, hope so anyway.
