Kuqi! Just a perfect professional, not technically great, but you can't knock his attitude!

the mental thing is, Big Al was also the best crosser of the ball at the club during his time... if only there were two of him or he had the pace of roadrunner he would have made Messi's tally this season look positively ****e by comparison (cue a reference somewhere to the Ameobi's).

    Good call with McCreery <ok>

    Very under rated Toon Legend!

Wish we had somebody like him in our team today.

I've said it before, but I controlled this man. I only saw 30 or so games when he played for us, but I saw his two against Spurs, the one against Fulham, one against Liverpool and the one against Southampton. And they're just the ones I remember! There were probably a few more.

A bit surprised that Rob Lee hasn't been mentioned very much. A great player, a great club man and a great guy. Remember standing for ages in Fenwicks for his book signing. Had a pic but it got lost in a computer crash.

Other than him though, I'd go for Zidane - Absolute class act.

Outside of Newcastle, Robbie Savage or El-Hadji Diouf <whistle>

Nah, outside of Newcastle I'd go for Rivaldo.
