I'm busting testicles laughing at this deal. You're paying double what he's worth. 45m for Mata. 30m for Fellaini. 63m for Di Maria.... You better get into the ****ing CL this season or...
You obviously found it amusing Tash, the amount we spent on him is still no where near the amount Mike Ashley has trousered out of Newcastle. The last decent player you had the pleasure of seeing was Alan Shearer.
Bale went for more. James has gone for about the same. Basically I dont care. About time we flexed our financial muscle.
Fabregas and sanchez were not wanted by their clubs. Di maria was. He was offered a contract and the manager and players all want him to stay.
He was behind Bale and Ronaldo though. It's not as if they needed him anymore. Quality player to have in the side, but he was forced to play in a CM role quite often to make way for the two big names. Still, they'll be happy that they've almost recouped the money they spent on Bale.
Wheres your next signing coming from Tash? A tip off for you, there is a good car boot sale every Thursday at Sedgefield racecourse, you might find one to suit your budget there And Sanchez has hardly set the world alight for Arse nil, but he still chose there before Liverpool
I'm pretty sure you've added over £10m on to the Mata and Fellaini figures (combined), but I get your point. However, imagine you're a really rich guy with a big house. It's getting a bit old and decrepit, and you need a new kitchen, bathroom and the lounge desperately needs decorating. Plus your neighbours have been splashing out for years, making your house look even worse. Do you do it on the cheap, using only a couple of labourers thereby taking a year or two till it's all sorted, just so your bank balance has an extra zero at the end? Or do you put your hand in your pocket and pay over the odds to get it done quickly, but still spending nowhere near what you can afford? I suppose what I'm trying to say, Tash, is "stop bumming dogs, you sicko."
Many at real will tell you he was their best player last season. High praise considering the company he was in.
Got any sources for these 'many'?? Surely he would have been up for the ballon d'or if he out performed Ronaldo. He didn't even make the short list FFS.
Their fans. Theres a poll from a madrid paper with something like 80% saying he was their best play last season. The one allowing the likes of bale and Ronaldo to score the goals. Then carlo rates him very highly as do his team mates.
