I know he's a great keeper, but he didn't look half as comfortable today as he usually does. Has Thursday knocked his confidence a bit? On the plus side, he came and caught a cross today, something he doesn't usually do.
Disagree. Thought he played well. He did play more safety first with some of his clearances, but that's no bad thing because against both QPR and Lokeren he was too casual.
I thought he was outstanding. His save from Charlie Adam in the second half was absolutely top class.
One of our better performers today, his kicking was poor but that might be because he had 1 to aim at instead of 2
I was concerned his confidence may have been dented but....Those things happen...I thought he commanded his box well and had a strong game.
thought he did fine today - did his best to command the box especially when Crouch arrived, have to say he seemed more vocal today, yawping at Curtis & G.Ninja more than usual ....
i thought Greggsy had a good game , my position was a bit funk (i was in row D !!) so everything looks like it was goalbound
He had an arse twitcher when he came off his line to collect a long ball which looked to be going out so changed his mind, Diouf managed to catch up with it but tripped over himself and it rolled out. Would have been trouble if he kept it in. Other than that and some woeful kicking he looked solid for once.
Thought McGregor had a really good game today, looked comfortable throughout and made a clutch of first class saves.Allan is a very experienced keeper has been there done it and got the tee shirt, we are lucky to have him.
He's no Tony Norman but Brucey went the full nine yards to sign him, so I think those that don't fancy him may well have to get used to him. Personally I think he's ok but prone to the odd error....I hear Petr Cech's available on a free
There was one save when he dived out head first to get the ball ahead of a Stoke player which was great goalkeeping. That kind of bravery is exactly what you want from your keeper.
