Good solid point there. Buckley ticked a few boxes that we needed. Rodwell looked missing a lot but i feel he isint fully fit yet and when he is we will have a monster in midfield. Catts was awesome and the full backs played great.

    As Paddy Power tweeted -

Gary Neville will look pretty stupid walking to his car in his full ManU kit.

I really rate his punditry but they shouldn't let him commentate on United games.

Pleased with a draw. Not the prettiest game but a good solid display and a deserved point.
On a side note. Did anyone else see Mannone and Catts talking to Welbeck at the final whistle? I wonder if they were asking him if he's joining us?

Great first half. Poor second half.

Don't know what happened 2nd half but we lost the plot and gave them far too much respect/ball, looking a bit disjointed getting forward which put pressure on at the back.

Hopefully Rodders will get more and more involved to enable greater possession up the park.

Great debut from Buckley, even greater from Vergini at the back.

And yes, Ashley Young is a kernt.

We aren't good enough in midfield to pal. there was only cattermole what played top class.

Plus, why isn't Wickham starting up front for?

So much good stuff in that game, cracking performances from Buckley and Vergini, Catts was immense, Altidore looked good, we were solid offensively and defensively from set pieces, there's a long list.

We looked like a solid, confident and happy team. The future's looking bright to me.

Decent enough, thought Catts, Vergini & in parts Seb, again, were excellent.

Time for Fletcher to go mind, no interest or effort. Someone get Brucey on the blower.

Draw was about right, and a solid start to the season, just need a 3 pointer.

It was like playing with 10 men the whole time fletcher was on the pitch. No positive energy from him whatsoever.

Connor must start up top, with Buckley, AJ or Mavrias down the flanks...and Giacc when he's back.

We just ran out of legs in the middle. That's why we stopped playing and that shows up of lack of depth and the need for new signings .

Bridcutt frightens the life out of me when he comes on. Gomez is okay.

Buckley and Rodwell will improve with more matches (an exciting thought)

WICKHAM must play up top. He creates chances, looks a threa, tries things and gives defenders a hard time. Yes he does lose it at times and can be greedy on occasion but I feel something is going to happen when he gets the ball. If the ball goes to Fletcher I know he's going to lose it. Fletcher created nothing. Worries me that Gus picks fletcher first? He would be third choice for me.

I apologise for banging on about it.

With you 100% after today, Fletch, as Nordic says, was like playing a man down, again.

We know he's fit, so we can safely assume he can't be arsed, we will be alienating Connor further as well playing him out wide.

Got to say I've been a big supporter of Fletcher but if that's him fully fit then we have sell him while he still has any value at all. Really gutted thought the lad would be starting like a house on fire this year but he was just missing. Also playing him as discussed means pushing Wickham onto the wing which isint using his full strength!

Been a massive backer of Fletch, until today.

We'll shelf that though, don't wanna speak on the negative after a decent show when 5 or 6 of the lads were superb, I don't think Fletch will find much support now, so we'll pick it up midweek ;)

Buckley looks a great signing he is going to give defences a really hard time. Wickham should start up top once we sign a left sided forward. Altidore looked more dangerous than Fletcher.

    Catts excellent again.

To be honest that was not our strongest team today, but we still played the right brand of football and caused them all sorts of problems. I would love to see the possession stats as had a lot of the ball.

I am very happy tonight, the new signings all looks good and were moving in the right direction.
