I think you will find it was Livermore who did the back pass.

its hard to pick one from 10 after that display.
McGregor for his saves the whole of the defence for their efforts when down to 10 men
The midfield for doing the same and finally Jelavic for his persistence.
Personally, I think it is unfair to select a MOM when the officials are against us also.

With a full 11 out there I dont think Stoke would have survived a beating from what I saw in the first 15b mins wth 11 men.

Credit to SB for installing this self belieif in the squad

Correct, however it was Macca that set it all in motion with a terrible pass to Livermore

Yea you are right, it was McShane to Livermore to Chester. 2 bad passes in a row though.

Difficult choice. Robertson makes 5-3-2 look more exciting as we attacked from both sides for that first 15, Macca was immense after costing us by his part in the passing that saw Chessie get sent off, all the boys were immense and battled to the end - just a shame they were robbed by a terrible decision.

Livermore had options and choose the wrong one.

He would have had far easier options if it wasn't for a shocking ball from Macca...... Our passing at the back from all three of the centre backs was quite slack at times.

    My three are:

    Quinn
    Jelavic
    Robertson

I am normally quite critical of Quinn as i don't think he had really stepped up to the plate at Premier League level but today he looked the part. Jelavic scored, and he worked his absolute socks off upfront on his own. Robertson i thought looked good, his kick away for his booking was daft but apart from that he looked the part.

    1 - Jelly - Goal/Workrate
2- McGregor - Kept them at bay
    3 - Elmo - Workrate

Robertson would have shone more if we'd kept all players on the pitch but had to stick to defensive duties for most of the match.
Thought Ince showed some promising touches.

Very disappointed with Livermore. He should be bossing the midfield more.

Looks like we have uncovered a real gem of a player with Andy Robertson. £2.5 million could look an absolute bargain in a few years time

Can't choose. Too many gave their all. Good all round effort.
