Another ****e decision costing us AGAIN. Great effort from the lads, when Chezzy was sent off I would've snapped your hand off for a draw.
Some big defensive errors in the first halves of the first two games. Stoke are woeful so I think it's 2 points dropped hopefully we can get those points back in the away tie.
Hands up how many people just KNEW that as soon as that dodgy decision was made it would cost us? A ref's cock-up never goes unpunished against us.
I didn't see the ref blunder. Tough one to swallow if it is the case. Would have taken a point but not when 1-0 up and 8 minutes to go...
It was a pretty bad call. The ball obviously went off the stoke player, it wasnt even a situation where they were close to each other and on the line. They were 5 feet apart and another 5 feet from the line.
Believe me I'm thinking the lino is BLIND it's the only reason I can think of for it as it's THAT bad!
You can still defend from a restart, it's not really the same as the dodgy penalty of the first game. The defensive errors of the first half cost us a player and that gave woeful Stoke the chance they had in the game.
I hoping in the post match interview SB reads the riot act live on TV sighting last week and this week as reasons.
A full 11 out there we would have eaten Stoke .... officials dont even go there great point considering . Full team Im not worried by anyone outside the top 4 playing city we held opur own great team display.; Hail Steve Bruce for everything he has installed in the lads
Problem is 99% of the time throw in mistakes don't cost you... so it's not something the league looks to punish refs for, unlike goal line decisions etc... but it always seems to cost us. I bet you they mention it on MOTD but brush over it and mention we should still have defended.
Actually the Lino is on the other side of the field, ref is much closer. Even if they both missed it 4th official should have seen that
