Think we need someone who knows the league, can speak both English and Italian, & can get on with Cellino. In short, we need a miracle or the impossible. Feel sorry for the Hock. But unless someone like Zola can be persuaded to come in and work with the Hock and keep the Hock as a trainer, we're in for a long season.

Well I just googled this bloke, if it is true and he is to become our next coach I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel, his record is far from impressive. Let's hope it remains just a twitter rumour although I have heard that the Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting it.

Maybe if we get a nobody coach in every four weeks, sooner or later we might get lucky and hit on a good one. Maybe

I think that is the idea, we just need Cellino to see that isn't the way it works in the Championship, I think we might have to get through a few before Cellino changes his style and stance and brings us in someone who will be good enough to take us forward.

It was always a gamble bringing in a coach and it clearly hasn't worked

I did Clarkey. But maybe working with someone more experienced will help. Don't forget that he was involved with some team getting promoted out of the Championship

Blimey, just had a look at this bloke's recent history and Catania's owner must be even more of a nutcase than ours !

Maran got the Catania job in June 2012 and led them on to their best ever season in Serie A (records points, record wins at home etc). Then was sacked in October 2013 after a bad run left them flirting with the relegation zone, only to be re-instated the following January because the guy brought in to replace him couldn't improve the situation. He was then sacked, AGAIN, in April this year.
