The whole football knowlege on this board tonight has been lowered to Astro`s level, is this down to fear/worry?
please educate us by explaining the role of Di Maria in the current Man Utd team, including an example team sheet (assuming no injures) demonstrating Van Gaal's formation and tactics
What is the current United team? I must confess i am at a loss to name it. All I know is we now have a squad (if di Maria sign`s) that is very varied and capable of playing in several different ways.
De gea Rafael evans rojo shaw Herrera carrick dimaria Mata rvp rooney De gea Smalling jones evans Rafael. Rojo carrick herrera dimaria mata rooney
Suspect - It's the back line you'd expect from a team in the bottom half and fighting relegation. It's bodering on shocking, rather than suspect Smalling = Absolute **** Jones = Slightly beter than absolute ****, but not by far. Evans = your best CB, surely that's an insult to Utd as he wouldn't even make the bench of all the top 6 clubs. Rafael = Had potential, but has turned out to be a rash unreliable idiot, and is qute honestly ****ing useless. Shaw = Who knows? But £32mil on an unproven 18 year old just shows how insane Utd have become. I have a feeling he wont quite make the grade, as he lacks defensive ability big time. Rojo -= absolute ****e for Moscow, Lisbon took a 3.5mil punt on him and he wasn't much better there. Had a good WC and is now worth £16mil plus Nani De Gea = The only one fit to wear the shirt to be honest, the others aren't even fit to trim his fluffy beard. You can have all the attacking threat you want but when it comes down to it, you can't always outscore your opponents. We learnt that lesson last season, it nearly worked - but is definately a dodgy way to go about it. Hence we've improved considerably in those positions this year, we wont score as many, but we certainly won't let as many in. Utd need a leader at the back - Smalling, not a ****ing chance, Jones - Would you listen to that utter donkey? Evans - simply not a leader, Rojo, can't speak a word of English and doesn't even have a ****ing work permit yet That leaves Shaw, he's about as much of a leader as I am a Utd fan. Plus he's a fat kid - and lets face it who takes orders from fat kids? #gerrezswifenotmarried
The whole thing is Mata part 2. Ignore your weaknesses and buy a player for the sake of it. No doubting he's a great player - but for £56mil they could spend £48mil on 2 left backs.........oh wait they already have £56 mil would get you an excellent CB and an excellent box to box midfielder, maybe they have other players lined up, but time is runnig out..
glad you were listening last night..... #desperatetoprovedimariaandmatawillbothplay to those saying lvg was the master and maureen the student.... if the student dumped mata the master will prob take him out the back and shoot him. for the record Rafael evans rojo shaw Herrera carrick dimaria Mata rvp rooney two lcbs, and evans is average as well... need a cb... redmist rafael? unfit shaw... Herrera and carrick are DMs... at least show understanding of modern football and apply a double pivot with dimaria placing CM as for rooney on the left... if van gaal as beleive the smoke rooney blew up his ass about this fine but every english prem fan has seen rooney sulk in this position every time he's been stuck there Mata on right, zero tracking back? slow... no penetration.... poeple said di maria injects pace so you play him further away form goal If I were a manager i'd be looking to atack that right side of utd all day cos rafael will dive in and mata won't be much help if any. thanks for the giggle
-----------De Gea Rafael--Evans---Jones---Rojo -----------Herrara Di Maria-----------Januzai -----------Mata -----RVP----------Rooney That's a good team.
Far too attacking - all you have as cover is Herrera and a ****e defence. Teams would score **** loads of goals against that line up. Good attacking threat though.
That was basically us last season though. RVP and Rooney can get twenty goals each if fit so they could play the 'let's score more than you' game.
Which was proven last year it's not the best tactic. Plus will Utd get over 100 goals like we did? I very much doubt it. Especially as RVP is bound to miss half the season as he's made of glass. Also LVG's tactics are so different to Rodgers, LVG is much more of a defensive manager, whereas Rodgers is the opposite.
sounds a good plan to me,hope they don't adopt it, if they do adopt that strategy, i can see them getting top 4 if we **** up, don't see them higher than that, same as us sadly. they don't have Europe to contend with, so lucky in the sense that naivety may not work in Europe, guess we will know soon enough, as what we adopted last season and had success in the league, and now we have Europe to contend with.
