With the seemingly inevitable arrival of Mario Balotelli to the squad on Monday, news that Liverpool have a verbal agreement to sign Samuel Eto'o in place should there be any last minute hic cups is welcome. It shows the club arent putting all their eggs in one basket. Eto'o passed a medical last week and is on standby, which is the the reason ajax, the bitters and a few other teams have to wait and see if he comes to us. Eto'o is on record saying money isnt an issue and he just wants to play at a high level. So why not sign both and have the 4 in the title as our striking options ? Allegedly Eto'o has agreed a one year deal on 35,000 a week if this is true I'd love LFC to sign both him and Balotelli. P.S. it doesnt bode well for neverton if one of their targets has agreed a deal with their main rivals and is willing to be a standby signing.
My main sticking point with Eto'o would be his wages. If they are reasonable, I'd snap him up. Him and Balotelli would be very decent (and massively experienced) strikers to have either on the pitch or off the bench as impact subs. I wouldn't mind both, so we'll probably get neither. #staypositive
Its what Ajax offered him and Liverpool matched it. Hes playing wait and see now. I bet the bitters need to offer him about 60 or 70 to go to woodison No cl makes you pay over the odds as we well know
wages are funny if true, i hope there would be a nice goal bonus to add to that, other wise where is the motivation? not overally keen, but its better to have lots of options that are good, than what we had before in the ass and moses to change things, **** me we have come a long way lol
True. I always laughed when a commentator would say "And Brendan's going to bring on Moses to try and get something from this game late on . . . " You just knew he wouldn't do a thing. Like the popular game show, and a broken pencil: pointless!
Luckily for us Aspas is gone and not Sturridge or we'd have Eto'o Balotelli Origi Lambert Aspas Wed have EBOLA
same here, do we have any idea what really happened with the remy deal? seems odd it would be because of attitude, yet we are getting balo.
glad we appear to have escaped the curse of Eto'o, well past his prime. Everton would be mad to sign him. If they did I suppose he could play the first half and Lukaka the second half as neither seem to be able to last a full game.
