Which would equate to approximately half of the projected revenue from the Fer sale. For a player who sounds very similar in style to Leroy. The proof of the pudding, of course, (could end up being another Toivonen saga <yikes>) but on face value sounds a pretty good deal by NCFC if it transpires <ok>

Hi, as a Brugge fan I've heard the rumours as well. It would be quite an amazing move for Vadis, from the top in Belgium and playing in Europe every year, to a Championship side.
Considering he always wanted to play in England and is desperately seeking a way out of the Belgian league (he's seen it all by now), the move may not be that surprising though.
He is a very strong player, both physically and technically. If we didn't have this strong generation in Belgium right now, with top class players like Fellaini or Witsel, he would be a regular in our national team.
The only problem might be that he is injured quite a lot; nothing serious though, but he missed out quite a few games in the past seasons.

Well we have the money from the Fee deal looks like a real coup at this level. Worth watching over the next few days. Looks very much like we were seeing what came of Fer and knew we exactly who we wanted to replace him.

Eredivisie guru, not continental. I've tried to watch the Belgian league for a month, but stopped as it was not only boring, but poor in quality too. So can't help you guys with this one I'm afraid.

Adams was asked and his reply was that they are looking at players to replace Fer, thats as good as confirming the club are interested.

From the youtube videos he looks like a classy little powerhouse with an eye for goal and there seems to be a golden crop of players coming out of Belgium lately so i would be more than happy to sign him.
    YES PLEASE.
Oddly enough Everton nearly signed Fer too.

He looks bloody incredible on YouTube. Seems to be exactly what we need, a like for like replacement for Fer and maybe even slightly better.

And the Spa F1 track. Always my favourite on the calendar.

Qualifying played second fiddle to a certain football match today tough!

Would be an exciting move. Question is where he should play. Would argue that a 4-3-3 with Tettey and Howson would be best. But it drops Wes who's been one of our best players.
Maybe he could play instead of Howson but that could drop him too deep.

Thanks for your input Chimme - always good to have local knowledge! Belgium have a very good national team, for a start - one of my favorites at the world Cup this year. Only wish England could have done so well! :emoticon-0105-wink:

I read somewhere that FC Twente had a sell on clause in our Fer deal so probably means like-for-like $ in and out at this stage (until we recoup the balance when Fer moves again).

Don't forget FC Twente had to be repaid approximately £2.5M from their 'sell-on' clause.

not sure if people are aware but the fee for fer, when incorporating the sell on clause, was around £10m. it was a record sale AFTER the sell on clause had been accounted for which means the club banked a guaranteed minimum of £7.5m, likely to be £8m

From what previous posters have found he would be a great replacement for Fer. And Evertons previous interest? De jeux vieu.
