Personally I'd like to win the odd game or two before I start gloating over other people's misfortune. Nevertheless, they are in danger of doing a Wolves.
So reckon they didn't gloat when we was on a downward spiral? f.uck em, I hope they get sent packing back to where they belong in the lower leagues.
After reading Scott Parker's interview the other day about not regretting coming to QPR, he mentions that Fulham were going to reley mainly on there very talented youth team. Anyway i thought straight away that the Championship is no place to start with this system and thought if this was the case they would be sure fire certainties to go down and thought it was worth a bet, never did though. Although it is very early days, it will be interesting to see how this develops and I also agree with RTID not gloating about other people's misfortune.
Big game for them against Brentford on Tuesday, but still plenty of the season left for them to turn it around. Haven't heard from Fulham Traveller for a while. Hope he's doing okay.
And yet Harry got plenty of stick from all corners for not playing the youngsters last season. Experience is invaluable in the Championship (and other leagues for that matter).
Sadly, Magath has no experience of the Championship and it's showing. Apparently there are only two of their experienced PL players still at the club, you can't lose that much and expect to be competitive in that league...
I know what they did mate. I still remember the gloating over Mark Hughes' ambition etc. I'd just like to be in a slightly stronger position than our current one before considering the position of others.
Haven't seen any of their games but read the manager's comments this morning in which he said that Derby should have beaten us in the play offs, were a good footballing side and less physical than the 3 teams they'd lost to already - the suggestion being that Fulham would do better against them I suppose. Wonder what he's telling the owners tonight? And he does look like Penfold doesn't he?
By a strange twist of fate, it is 39 years to the day since this team: Parkes - Clement Abbott Tagg Gillard - Masson Francis Leach - Thomas Bowles Givens - Sub: Beck. won 5 -1 at the Baseball Ground. Abbott and Tagg! Who'd have thought?
Sure about 39 years? I've never been sure how young I was when I started supporting the Rs. I can remember this score line. I was 8 if you are right.
