..... where they left off last season.

They barely scored after Christmas and have started this season with 2 more blanks <laugh>

Riviere taken off, I doubt he'll get many starts tbh.

I have to say Williamson has definitely improved, looks very comfortable carrying Colccini.

I wonder who'll fill in for him next week <whistle>

Ginger Pirlo passed the ball backwards and side ways well.

Williamson actually is a decent defender, reads the game well, he's just slow as a bastard, has the turning circle of a large hotel, and his first touch is a wee bit loose.

He's good in many areas, but his weaknesses are the type that can be easily exploited.

I'd be a bit worried if all we had up top was Riviere, it's as we discussed, physically, he's gonna find ot really tough going, Ferreyra for me will be similar.

He's also a 'confidence player' and was great in France when things were going well ....... he'll soon fade if he doesn't score in the first 6 games.

I also noticed that Keane was very quiet today. He was on his feet shouting & growling when Villa were winning last week.

Villa didn't have a shot on goal and less than 30,000 supporters for the first home match against the entertainers.

That's on the back of an opening day derby away win.

I'd be very worried if I was a Villa fan, Newcastle would've pissed that if they had a striker.

I've heard Mag fans say 'Villa is our bitch', well not this time according to the bbc: shots on target=0

Actually, that got me thinking, who is Sunderland's bitch at the moment? <whistle>

Was that the crowd? For day 1? An no doubt the Toon would have took 3-4000.

That club is ****ed, Villa, and not in an enjoyable sense of the word!

I think the crowd was bang on 30,000 so, less the Mags, they pulled in around 26,000 for their first home game <doh>

The Newcastle support was good as well ........ more of them joined in with Villa's minute's applause than the other way round.

'No respect my Lord, no respect'.

Bugger I had a bet on a player from each side sent off.

Couple of the Villa lads tried to help me out mind. :p

Watched the match with no sound as I couldn't be bothered to get up and get the remote. hahaha

Doesn't surprise me one bit that mate.

Away from the knobheads they, like us, have a cracking hardcore of really top class followers.
