    Ah Teletext. Ceefax in particular. It was during my time in retail that I remembered all the important [to me] Ceefax page numbers. We'd have one section of TVs relaying the football scores, as they happened. Brought the people in, of course. I even ended up buying a TV paying particular attention to its teletext performance. It was a Phillips, which had enhanced fastext performance and could store 100 pages in memory [wow, the technology..!]. This meant I could flip to a page immediately. It was excellent for football scores.

    Just back from camping trip in a field in Sussex, with no signal! (Missed all the stuff on the other thread too)

    Saints to win 2 nil. Pelle and Long to score.

    Camping is a bit like supporting Saints.
    Seemed like a good idea at the time or given no choice by family.
