Aluko - one of his best performances for us. Made the fullback lool an absolute twat more than once. Chester - Xavi-like performance in DMF. He did everything simply but well. Ince - no one else stood out but we were so much better when he and Jelavic came on.

Aluko Chester Meyler Dishonourable mentions for Brady, Figueroa and Maguire, who were shocking(not forgetting McGregor's rush of blood).
He wasn't convincing at all, I can only assume that those who rated him were even more pissed than I was.
I don't think Maguire played ****, but he didn't play very well. Saying that, the team as a whole didn't.
Aluko Chester Meyler Didn't think Maguire was particularly shocking but definitely didn't look great. Didn't do anything wrong and his passes actually found heir man (unlike a certain someone's woeful attempts) but he made basics look very difficult. Unconvincing would be a fair reflection.
From what I've seen the only people that said Maguire played well were those who listened on the radio - I'd have definitely had him in my top three from Burnsy.
Maguire looked half a stone too heavy to me! If you're not quick you don't try and carry extra wheight around!
