Afternoon folks, I am thinking of watching the game at Villa Park a week on Sunday. The Villa website has suggested a few car parks for match day parking, but I was wondering if anyone who has been to the ground before could recommend a good place to park? Many thanks in advance and fingers crossed for a positive result in Belgium tonight.
When we've been previously, we come off the M6 on the Aston Expressway, then turn left - away from the ground. Plenty of on street parking and only a few minutes walk.
I live roughly 5 miles from there and can confirm its a ****ing ****hole! What I advise to anyone I know going to that ****pit is park at Wylde Green Station. The train runs every 10/20 mins and goes past Aston. The parking at Wylde Green is on the street but in a nice area (my stomping ground) and free and the train costs roughly £2.50 return. Aston station is around 15 min walk to the ****hole through a ****ing horrible area. Hope this helps
