well it'd be better then perhaps to compare first block of 4 last year to second block of 4 this? last year we took 10 point out of 12 and had stoke, villa, utd and swansea in the block... early doors and all that. The requirement is 8/12 points = 2 wins, 2 draws or 3 wins one loss to aim for 76points and totally assured of cl. 70 +/- 3 in this league may have to be re-examined... but it'll be close. No. I think we're close enough that the game will again be decided by terrible decisions in favour of City or a bit of luck for either team.
I dunno, perhaps a roll is needed did you see city v newcaslte on sunday? Newkie are much improved and work very hard and were competitive. City matched them and more. i think we faded v southampton and so I think we'll do well to play city at the same level we did last season.
I'm with you in that minority. Obviously I don't expect us to win every single game throughout the season, but as each individual game approaches I see no reason to think we can't win it.
No that's not right. You can only compare the fixture against the same opponents. If we were playing QPR at home this week but last year played Chelsea away you wouldn't expect the same return of points. For me, the fact we beat saints makes us 3'points up on last year.
