Destro??

Hearing a lot of rumours linking Torres with Roma in exchange for Destro.

I was wondering if anyone on here knows much about Destro? What's he like?
Is this a good move?
Should we be excited?

Never seen him play but any deal which allows Torres to move away is good for us IMO.

 

Also just noticed that odds on Loic Remy joining us have gone from 28/1 to 2/1.
Can't see Torres going to QPR though!!

 

I called it!! The other day.
What I think is happening is Jose is trying to offload Torres to Roma and seeing if we can get Destro as part of the deal.
If they offer straight cash for Torres and wont hand over Destro, Jose will buy Remy.

 

Destro is a finisher, will hardly pass up opportunities. His age is another plus bringing down the average age of our squad some more.

 

I think I could come to terms with us swapping him for Ebbsfleet Ladies No1 striker!

 

Torres + £5m, I think you'll need.

I have no idea how good this guy is but if we can offload torres somehow, anyhow, then Roman and jose if you're listening: DO IT!!!!!!

Both us and he need to move on, too much has happened (or rather not happened) adn the pressure on the poor lad has probably hurt him. Let him go!

According to the Times this morning Roma are ready to take him on loan as long as they can sort out a pay deal. His current £180k a week needs re-negotiating!

 

Can't get my head around why anyone would swap Torres for a player who can actually score goals. What's in it for Roma ??
