O/T - HOW much!!!

I DON'T believe it - I see Steve Bruce is looking to sign Jordan Rhodes for £12M as a replacement for the injured Robert Snodgrass. Maybe I wasn't watching him very much on Tuesday, but I certainly didn't see him display anything to make him worth THAT much!!!

They are certainly splashing the cash. Obviously lookign at the QPR model

 

He'll be to replace Shane Long I'd have thought, and considering they got an over-inflated £12m for him it probably isn't that bad a deal all told as I think Rhodes is a better goalscorer than Long.

I heard they were looking at Danny Welbeck for a similar amount last week

 

You're spot on re Welbeck Munky!!!

 

Whilst Rhodes is a better finisher I think Long is a better all round player. Of the two he's the one I'd want. But for £12m I'd want neither.
