You guys spent silly money last time, but look to be getting it right this time. £8 million for a Dutch international who has (one would assume) the best yet to come? Good value I'd say. The guy oozes class, but has a tendency to showboat. It wasn't what we needed in our situation, so I won't miss him if I'm honest. Get him focused, and you'll have some player on your hands. NCgandy : all credit to you and your fellow supporters. We wish you well. I'm too long in the tooth to get too excited generally but what HR and TF are building is grounds for serious, er, optimism. I'm 42 years going to LR this season. TF is an accountant by trade. No mug. Look at his other businesses. Roller coaster but success. HR is a football manager and widely respected as the best man-manager around. GH is looked at by some suspicion at his man-manager skills, probably rightly, but he's one of the best coaches England has produced, ever. Steve Black won us many points since he was introduced by JB in the start of. 2014. That, backed with the might of the Malaysian co-directors, Amit Bhatia, Lakshmi Mittal and several undeclared investors, makes me think we might be getting it right, at long last. The additions of Rio, Caulker, Mutch, Fer, Isla and most probably Vargas to add to the squad which can include Remy and dispense with Julio Cesar and Taarabt is probably the best PL business this transfer window. Quote me come May : but we are NOT getting relegated.

It's pretty obvious but not at all healthy for Adel, the support and not for our Club who need a No 10, or a good price for him. I would have thought you'd have sussed this by now! You saw Adel train yourself you said, but Arry even lied about that.As for having the runs, that's nothing to do with you, but if you do need rapid assistance stuck in your taxi in a bad jam, I can recommend Imodium.

Oslo you can say what you like about what Harry should or shouldn't have done or how the club should have treated Adel but at the end of the day the guy is an arrogant, self obsessed, beliver in his own press and doesn't want to be here and play for us. I am happy to give him away for nothing because to me the need for the players to be pulling together is the single most important thing right now. As he has always been, Adel is a divisive character that creates discord wherever he goes. I couldn't care how talented the fool is, if he hasn't got a his head right. As for your point that it's Harry's job to get his head right, I disagree. Adel gets paid enough that he should be expected to do it himself. The guy is a grade one arsehole in my books and I can't wait for this whole sorry episode to close so I no longer have to read tripe about how the club or manager are somehow at fault because Adel is a prick. Opinions are like Adel (Arseholes), we all have one and we all have the right to have one. What is not so often added to that well known phrase is if your opinion is at odds with 1 person, then it's a difference in opinion. When your opinion differs to 10 people then maybe you not with a group of like minded people but when your opinion differs from just about everybody then maybe one should look at their opinion. We all want the right to have one but that comes with the responsibility of assessing them from time to time.

You got a lot of opinions about Adel like you know him personally. If not I question your competence to judge him personally. I agree he probably wants to go back to where he excelled in a big Club. But no doubt most of our players would go to Milan given half a chance . Divisive in the dressing room? I doubt he is more so than others, and there is no substantial of your claim. I heard no criticism of Adel's teamwork or otherwise at Milan.
Olso..... My opinion of Adel come from what I have heard said from many different places. The club, The media, just like yourself. Your defence of him seems somewhat sycophantic almost. As for you questioning his divisive effect, I think that is somewhat crass as it is well known he behaves like a petulant child. (The bus back from Fulham is a prime example) As for MY competence to JUDGE him, I can say exactly the same to you. Why do YOU feel you have the right JUDGE him and I don't, because YOU seem to have JUDGED him a the new footballing messiah. If you want to swim against the tide of opinions that have him in a different light than yourself, that's up to you but for you to question my competence to judge when your doing exactly the same yourself (unless your related to him in some way at which point I would say I commend you for standing up for your family) your just being a hypocrite. We all have the same knowledge base to form our opinions, I am merely pointing out that you seem to have a very different stance than most. Personally I disagree with you about his time at Milan. I don't think he set the world on fire at all. (Right now I think that the top league in Italy is at it's poorest for years with many clubs living on reputations from the near past.) Maybe he just put the effort in while there so his performances looked a little better. Even more reason to get rid of him as it shows he isn't earning the huge wages we pay him. (I'd bite off your arm to earn in a year what he earns in a month) There is no doubt the guy has talent but it's on his own head that he can't apply it. Without application talent is wasted. At which point I see him as a drain on our resources and better off not there. You have the right to you opinion (and I'm not bothered if you change it or not) I don't question that, but I do take offence at being told I am not fit form my own opinion by someone who is getting their info from the same source and knows no more than myself. If you do have some new source that we are not privy to then bring it forth and we can form our own conclusions with the new information.
