Maybe the training/ set up but never saw anything to suggest he was anything other than ****e. When played at RB his positioning was shocking and when played at RW his crossing was horrendous. I suppose in an IH team the all out attack aspect may hide his numerous faults. And off the field he seemed to have amnesia about whether he is legally able to drive or not. Sorry but glad we got shot. Poor on the pitch, idiot off it!
He never impressed me as a right winger at the club but then he was only played there by 2 defensive minded managers. At rightback going forward I thought he was superb and the engine on the guy for someone in the latter stages of their career is phenomenal. Not the best defensively but I don't think he was as bad as many people thought, he was in some poor defences with a manager who liked to play open football.
