Nicky Ajose in on loan? to cover Left wing also pacy striker if needs be.

Aint got a clue who we'l sign as GK aint Guzan keeping his options open after we enquired?

Could be Forster or Mannone on loan again , much rather have a fulltime signing though.

We seem to be keeping who were looking at well under wraps which makes a change i suppose, on the downside it is causing mass panic and depression among some city fans haha!

Atkinson not good enough for this level.

What happened to a rumoured transfer to Germany for Koren - was mentioned at the back end of last season

It was Nuremberg who Talksport said were going to bid £1m for him, but it never materialised.

Devitt I definitely wouldn't regard as a quality player. He's a hard worker, and does a decent job. However he doesn't look anything better than back-up to be honest. However he's still young.

At the beginning of the window it was reported that we were looking to be bring in around 7 players. So far we've bought in:

    - Evans
    - Dudgeon
    - Adebola
    - McKenna
    - Hobbs

That's five already. Therefore I think we should only expect to see two keepers and possibly another centre back or winger join the club. I doubt we're in for another striker personally.

I'd be a rubbish manager, I can never make up my mind:

    Oxley

    Rosenior Hobbs Chester Dudgeon

    McKenna Koren Evans

    Stewart Fryatt Simpson

    Looks ok to me.

subs/others: ???, Cooper, Dawson, Barmby, Olofinjana, Bullard(?), McLean, Adebola, Harper, McShane

I'd be tempted to play Oly and Bullard for Koren and Evans (never going to happen) just to see how it would pan out.

Devitt is as thick as two short planks.

NP substituted him last season because of his APPAULING positional sense.

    He aint good enough!

When asked a while ago the Leicester fans seemed to think that they'd let Dyer go for a reasonable fee. I've heard NP is a big fan, so there's a possibility of us maybe seeing him in the future playing in black and amber. Who knows?!

I'm still not ruling out Ayala, be it anoter loan or a permanent deal. He clearly seems to like being here and NP. I think Murphy at Scunthorpe would be a decent buy as a keeper and there might be another keeper we could take on from the championship (can't think of any names). Foster or Vito on loan would be welcome should they happen. I can see us unearthing another gem from somewhere, but i'm confident we'll have the right people in place by August 5th.

I was really impressed with Devitt last season. He seems to spot other players runs and produces creative passes into the box better than anyone else we've got, with the exception of nick barmby and maybe Robert Koren. Whilst Stewart is still injured he should be a definite starter and he's likely to improve with experience.

That said, for me, a winger is a must, because the squad needs 3 in it. I agree with others that Ayala is still a likely one and then 2 keepers (1 permanent, 1 loan).

Who were we playing when he tried barging into someone and flew about 3ft in the opposite direction, right in front of the West Stand? <laugh>

David Beckham made a decent career out of not being able to beat a man. You can beat a man by being able to put a decent delivery into the box. Devitt has that ability by the bucket load. I think he'll do well this season given the chance.

Devitt is light weight, defensively he's a waste of space, but he's very dangerous going forward, I think he's a handy player to have on the bench and he's still young enough to improve.

You know what I meant. However, with the way Leicester's team is shaping up, it does look a little like a Championship Fantasy Football team.

That's going way overboard. As much as we wanted Neil Danns, the biggest sides in the division (West Ham, Birmingham, Forest) weren't queuing up to buy him. Schmeichel is a brilliant shot stopper but not the best goalie in the division. Mackail-Smith is sought after but it's a big price for a relatively unproven Championship striker. Peltier is what he is.

I think they are putting together a good side but I don't buy that they'll piss the league. It's too early to judge of course because right now, Birmingham look stronger than Leicester but come September, that will have changed massively.

I think Birmingham are about to lose at least half of their starting XI, it looks like the following are on their way out:

    Craig Gardner
    Seb Larsson
    Ben Foster
    Scott Dann
    Cameron Jerome
    Nikola Zigic
    Roger Johnson

I agree, that's kinda what I said! We'll have to see who they replace them with.
