Remy - Release clause triggered?

Has been mentioned in passing in a couple of threads.

Considering what has been said today by Harry I think that this might be presumptuous.

Of course, Remy has to say yes.

 

At the very least we could delay until after Sunday!

 

The Caughtoffside website is a load of pony can't believe someone would actually take that site seriously Qpr transfer rumours.

To suggest that Tony Fernandes would be so dumb as to transfer Remy and allow him to play against us within hours of said transfer rather undermines the credibility of the story methinks.

I don't think this is going to happen, but this bit isn't in our hands, you can't transfer a player with the proviso they don't play against you - that's just for loans. If they trigger the release clause presumably it could happen quickly, but we should refuse player swap deals.

No offers, but 'enquiries', from at least 1 top 7 team.

Presumably we have offered him even more cash, which few other clubs will want to match. A few more days of tension. We definitely need this bloke.

 

It's not hard to drag it out for 24 hours until the deadline for the weekend match has passed. To get their player for the season, Spurs will allow that to happen. So if it is going to happen it will happen on Friday or Saturday...so he plays for no one. Well that would be my plan...all parties happy....No one gets hurt.
