The Napoli forward is once again not considered part of Rafa Benitez's plans ahead of the new campaign and the Black Cats are looking at a temporary switch for the 24-year-old speedster. Arsenal had been reported to be chasing Vargas but MirrorFootball understands that there has been no contact from the Gunners for him. He has, however, been offered to Queens Park Rangers who are mulling over a move. Vargas impressed on loan at Valencia last season but has failed to force his way into the Napoli setup. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...land-weigh-up-loan-move-4069136#ixzz3AkPlDVfd Follow us: @DailyMirror on Twitter | DailyMirror on Facebook
Looking less and less likely this one According to reports on twitter he's went with QPR on loan due to London/Chilean team mate Isla Therefore must turn to other targets... Only player I can think of from top of my head with a similar playing style would be Memphis Depay
Terms agreed at qpr, medical tomorrow nothing new there than.thats typical of the media linking us with everyone
This blows my mind, if we are interested and poyet also being a fellow countryman and we cannot even get the guy up here for a look around and chat, he prefers qpr (no disrespect particularly intended) ffs we are just second rate. Albeit in front of 40k crowds and I know geography is an issue but these are footballers
Vargas is Chilean, Poyet is from Uruguay, so not a fellow countryman. Apparantly there is another Chilean at QPR (Isla) and that was the deciding factor. I'd like to see Poyet do an 'Arry and try to pinch the lad, but it looks done and dusted now,
Oops am I bad lmao, drrr moment, sorry lads frustrated. Anyway gonna have a week away and hopefully we will have a squad when I come back. Still will probably have the internet and wifi though so still watching no doubt
QPR must have a wage bill close to Man City's. I have started despising them and hope they get relegated before Newcastle. (the two together would be fine as well)
Old Saggychops has been doing this to us for years .. I remember him taking Younas Kaboul out to the casino and stealing him from under our noses .. probably got a nice wristwatch from inside Arry's coat too ! We will always be fighting against the lure of Landan unfortunately.
