Remember him well. Every Saturday at 5 we would take down the results and check the Pools. You could work out if it was a draw or away win by the tone of his voice. RIP

Everyone would go silent in the car as soon as the music started, it could stop the the most vitriol argument instantly.
JAG was the radio version of Len Martin on BBCTV. Both excellent at what they did and were fixtures and fittings throughout most of my life, it is another sad day.
