    Remember him well.

    Every Saturday at 5 we would take down the results
    and check the Pools.

    You could work out if it was a draw or away win by the
    tone of his voice.

    So many Saturdays leaving Carrow Road with a transistor radio to my ear, listening to his dulcet tones sing out the footy results, happy days

    JAG was the radio version of Len Martin on BBCTV. Both excellent at what they did and were fixtures and fittings throughout most of my life, it is another sad day.

    THE Voice of Saturday Afternoons.... Everything stopped at 5pm and the eloquent tones of Arsenal 0 Man Utd... etc..

    You could also play the guessing game if you were just listening and not looking at the Tv screen of what team's were actually scoring due to his tone
