RIP - I used to listen faithfully with my Dad to the BBC Saturday football full time results - you could almost detect from his tone after the first team's score was read whether it was going to be a home win, a draw or an away win.
Yes. I don't usually post on the RIP threads but I'll make an exception for James Alexander Gordon. I remember as a kid trying to imitate him and changing the result to an unexpected one using the same intonation in his voice. RIP James.
