Just heard that we are going to have to pay £25 to join some sort of away club just to be in with a chance of getting an away ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think it's a good idea, give people who don't have a home season ticcy a chance, i have a m8 who goes to every away game, he don't go to home games anymore.
I think it's a quality idea to be fair. I'm considering it myself to be honest, it's a lot easier to fly to London than it is to get to Cardiff or Bristol, so I could probably make quite a few away games in the south east...
Good idea gets my vote, hope there's some priority given to the faithful who have been supporting away games for years, great bunch of lads, and deserve recognition!.............. please log in to view this image
I just hope I can get my hands on one of these! Or is there going to be a certain number sold. tickets to watch the swans are going like hot cakes!
It says on another forum for the first few games will be an electronic draw. so what happens if i get mine and my son doesnt when we are both avid followers and both go away regularly. it would have made sense if our first 4 away games had been QPR, Norwich, Wolves and stoke. but with 3 of the first 4 being big games seems a little unfair. but i suppose they had to find sme system. at least i will get to see them all at home.
I think it's a great idea, should know a little bit more about it after the Q&A session in London on Thursday night. I think £25 is quite cheap too, I was thinking it would be £40 - £50.
It's just speculation though unless the club actually says it directly, care to name your source or where you heard it from ?
Here we go, name that sauce in one please someone! HP, or may be Daddies aye................ please log in to view this image Sauce Link: http://www.poundland.co.uk/images/990/original/daddies-sauce.jpg
So everyone has an equal chance of going to away games....£25 and you're in....OK what about those who have made it every to away game for the last so many years but will be denied now because we suddenly have all these extra fans who want to go to Man City etc.... So much for loyalty..
Liberty, I know what your saying. I've been a season ticket holder for 7 years, a supporter since 77 and attend on average 5 away games per season. If the club could come up with a method of rewarding loyal fans I would gladly give up my away tickets to more deserving fans. However no one has suggested a fair system as yet. Any ideas!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you not have a loyalty point system for away tickets? At man city we had it introduced years ago so every game you go to you get points and when tickets are issued the lads who have been going for years get first option on them
ppleftfoot, we don't have any thing in place down here, we're a bit behind the times, in recent years there's not been a great deal of demand for away tickets(unless we got a big game in the cups etc) but now we're in the premier league, the supports coming out of the woodwork, swansea does have a big football following, but they don't all support the swans(or they did'nt until about 2 months ago).
This is something that our club needs to address, these guys deserve better, and should be rewarded for the way they keep the support going on the road, and it's not cheap with hotel bills either, I can see where libertyswan is coming from with his post regarding 'Loyalty', I hope the club recognise this and do something about it, would be a damn shame if this is overlooked!.................... please log in to view this image
