This is why you are called an RS fan. To compare an asian football fan to a US one shows your ignorance of global football. Asian support for football has been around lomg long before football or "soccer" became fashionable in the US.
Yeah...silly me.... Again, I am not debating there are people all over the world who support clubs hardcore, regardless of their geographical location, but the fact remains there are a higher percentage of people that don't. And what does "I wouldn't expect a Chelsea fan to accept that" mean? Please explain.......
after 1 game ? good god, there's another 37 to go yet, there's plenty of twists and turns left in the season yet as well.
Course it was. The truth is, and I don't dispute that the premier league and sky have given United many millions of fans in Asia and beyond, we've always been followed world wide. And we've always been followed in Asia. And we might well lose a load of 'fans' should we become long term **** but we will remain easily the most popular supported English club abroad and that will simply never change.
Neither of those are records. The first home loss on the opening day since 1972 is simply repeating the past. The second guy to climb Everest didn't break any records. As for the first league victory, it was bound to happen eventually. Swansea have only been in the same division as us for three years now, so they are earning their first league victories over every established PL side. Both of those are just pointless stats wheeled out to try and make one of our games seem like more than it is.
Are you confident ahead of this weekends game? Fact is had Rooney's goal gone in and not hit the woodwork would poss be a different story. As it stands you looked toothless to say the least at the weekend, your team as a unit looked pedestrian. That will change according to players and maybe so, VG has his work cut out though
Every team under a new man takes time, you pleased with Rojo? Ive read comments from Utd fans saying they're underwhelmed, he made the team of the WC though
Bold 1 - Which is why I said 'recent records' - I get the fact it's not an all time record. But it is a modern day football record. Bold 2 - Is a record as they haven't beaten you before (put whatever spin on it you like it is still a record)
Dont know anything about him. Sporting fans rave about him but most fans do about their own player. Linked with your lot wasnt he? read an article which painted him in a positive light. A good player who would improve Liverpool. Same guy has since written one about him being poor. Something to do with him joining Man Utd?
