Summer 2014 Transfer rumour thread - Part VIII

For one reason or another, the following could be obtainable on loan over the next fortnight (not necessarily by us though!):

Hernandez, Young, Nani, Anderson, Zaha, Cleverley, Powell, Lindegaard, Kagawa. I've even seen a few stories that LVG doesn't rate Rafael and would be willing to offload.

Just because some featured yesterday should not make too much of a difference. Firstly, Utd had a fair few players missing. Secondly, they will no doubt make signings between now and the close of the window.

 

I am soooooo getting a seat near the dugouts when Man United come to town.

 

Let's see:

Hernandez - Yep
Young - Conditional. Must stop diving and being a continual drip, which is near impossible for him.
Nani - No. Just often doesn't put in a shift.
Anderson - Isn't he new to ManU still..?
Zaha - No brains. No.
Cleverley - No skill. No.
Powell - I'd like to bring him on. So maybe.
Lindegaard - We're OK for keepers now.
Kagawa - Yep
Rafael - I don't like him either. Gets himself into trouble through his temper. Besides, Clyney is way better and I'd rather blood a rookie on the occasions when Nat is injured. Or there's always Jack in a crisis.

So I'll have Hernandez and Kagawa. Ta.

 

He's been there since 2007! He's not very good and we don't need more CMs, but still.

Well some team has an Anderson who is new to them. I know because I've been updating my PES6 to 2014/15 season. For some reason I thought it was Manure.

Just back from the weekend in Liverpool, could someone quickly sum up last few days of links/rumours? I heard something about Townsend but heard/hoped it was a non-starter?

 

Koeman wants two more in. One wide player.

Some rumours of a 10m bid for Townsend started by Peach. Tottenham said no.

 

Possibly not, but I think it is fair to say that if some of the players listed before became available we wouldn't be the only ones who may be interested in a loan deal. Van Gaal might prefer they went elsewhere. If we were the only cub interested then a different story.

Don't know much about him to be honest, although my first instinct says he is too old.

We seem to have been linked with about three Lazio players.

 

Very good player.

 

He is, but is he a winger? Not so sure.
