    Thought he was fantastic today.

Perhaps didn't have too much to do but did everything with assurity.

Looks a definite upgrade to me. Must instil a lot of confidence in the defence (who were great today - especially Ash).

I'd have given him MOM (or Ki)
Very impressed with what I have seen, considering he was labelled 'Flappyanski' by Arsenal, and other clubs fans ect.

Looked confident, couldn't see the whole match: but he seems like a good player...

He did look solid, and I'm sure he'll make it his own in due time, there was great pressure today for us, but we came through, and Monk must be on cloud 9, and he deserves it, now we have a nice run of games that we need to be clinical with and pick up the points!.................<ok>

From what I heard (bbc Wales) Fab commanded his box extremely well. That's what was missing from Vorms game!

I agree thought he was solid. Although he didnt have a lot to do what he did do he did well. I liked the fact he was quick to come off his line too, something which Vorm and Tremmel dont do so much.

Only when he initially joined them, Valley. They were sad to lose him in the end. Looks a top keeper who commands his area. First keeper we've had in a while who does that.

I have to say i was probably one of his bigest critics on here. I didnt think he was going to be good enough for us. But, I am more than prepared to say that up to now I have been proved totally wrong and was well impressed with him yesterday. Long may that continue.

Coincidently, did anyone else notice that Vorm didn't even make the team sheet for Spurs yesterday. Ben got as far as the bench but had no game time.

Yet another couple of players who think they can make the big time but will be stockpiled and used in cup games. When will they learn that money is one thing but career is everything? Sinclair ring a bell? Good luck to them but this is a familiar story.

I dontt hink you can call moving to Spurs a poor career move. That said I am sure they will all wish they made a different choice when they are retired at 40 as multi millionaires NOT!!

Movng to a bigger club where they can break into the first team is an excellent career move, Bap. Many don't.

I'm sure Ben will make the first team at some point in the near future. Vorm, on the other hand, will have to wait until Brad Friedel retires just to warm the bench.

and many do. Ben hasnt gone there to be stockpiled, lets not sit in judgement on 2 guys who have served us well and moved to a bigger club on higher wages and playing in Europe, after 1 game has been played. That said I am sure even if they dont cut it, at the end onf their career they would look back and say at least I had a go when the option came up. No regrets is what comes to mind. Better to have tried and failed than to to have never tried at all.

Agree totally Bap - can't blame players for wanting to move on to bigger and better things. Not judging at all, but it's a fact that many players who leave us for pastures green end up finding their careers stall. Not an opinion. Fact. Time will tell.

Very impressed with Fabianski, he dominates his box and is the first keeper we've had since Roger who will come and catch crosses which takes the pressure off our defenders. Can see he has been working on his distribution, first couple of friendlies he was guilty of giving the ball away but seems to be building a good understanding now with his back four. Still early days of course but reckon we have done the right thing replacing Vorm who last season looked a shadow of the player we had before his injuries.
