..... next week? If there's a minute's silence next week, for the Newcastle lads, I'd expect it to be perfectly observed. It needs to be publicised everywhere so we don't get any of these 'singing in the concourse by people unaware' stories. Just saying like ..........
already been confirmed by the club, dont care who they supported, you will never likely hear of more fanatical fans than those two in the world of football, never missed a home or away game at any level for ?? years (alot) cant remember. I doff my cap, any shennanigans where i am and people will be getting sparked i can tell you
I have no doubt it will be. There may be a couple of idiots (every club has them) but I am certain the silence will be respected. The fans of SAFC have been an immense credit to football over this tragedy.
I think we'll be a credit to the club ..... we're great at respect tbh. The only noise I've ever heard is from people who were unaware. I have to be honest, I was at West Brom yesterday and sang through their Jeff Astle thing ..... wasn't 'til I watched MOTD that I realised. I was ****ed off by the Villa fans, last season, when they were singing 'no respect' for some **** only they knew about.
Its been in the public domain so long i doubt there will even be the odd idiot tbh Saying that, true to form, probably wont be in until after ko, its always that last quick pint
I didn't have a clue mate, I live 130 miles from the ground and get East Midlands local news on the telly. I don't have regular mates in the NE, they're all here, so get all my info from 606. Sometimes 'the idiots' are decent clueless people who've had a few pints and never buy a pre-match programme.
Don't be daft, you're talking from your point of view and situation. We stay in the Victory until 10 minutes before kick off ....... by the time we get to the concourse, for a last pint, the players are on the pitch. I only ever see kick off in the derby matches when the ground is chokka. People who live locally have no idea what matches are like for exiles.
My concern is that it only takes a really small minority to ruin the tribute Last season we did a minutes silence for the hillsborough tragedy, and some Everton fans above me started chanting
I'm sure everyone will do us proud. Any any arseholes who embarrass us, I hope their mates also do us proud.
I'm sure that it will be extremely well respected, although I'm surprised that we are having a minutes silence when our club will not have one for any of our own fans or players who have died, apart from a generic one for all in the first game of the new year..
