Maybe just maybe a bloke who served his country for 30 years may have missed out on a lot of his childrens childhood. You know birthdays, Xmas', school plays; all the milestones and important things like wedding anniversary or even his mrs' birthday. There's a huge amount of guilt with a lot who served about this.
