    Worth noting that despite everyone saying we played poorly for our win we had 78% possession, very good pass completion, five times as many touches in the opposition box, more shots and won the game.

    We were poor in the attacking third, whilst Sonogoals was on the pitch. No movement at all which can't be seen on tv. Not just Sonogoals, wilshere, cazorla too. Too many bad passes from Santi and Jack.

    We missed Ozil in the middle of the park and Sanogo must not start against deep lying teams (his hod up play was poor), Cazorla had an uncharacteristically poor game and his lack of pace and drifting into the middle hurt us on the flanks. Our game improved drastically when Giroud and Oxo came on as Giroud held up the ball and allowed the midfield to gt in the play more while Oxo gave us much needed pace.

    I watched the game yesterday and thought you would struggle as soon as I saw the team, It seemed clear that you needed to play a wider game in order to open Palace up but then just filled and tried to play through the middle. For me Oxo won it for you by driving at them and not allowing them to get organised.

    Early days yet but if Wenger is going to put that team out on a regular basis I see a similar season to last for you.
