If the price of £12 million is correct then for me this could be the signing of the summer. I know there are probably add ons but think that's a great buy.

Any new player joining a team has to be very careful what he says in interviews. If he says "they strugled last year and i can improve the team" he makes enemys in the dressing room, if he says they were top class last year and i will try my best to get a game some supporters may think he has no confidence or is not good enough to improve them. No win situation for new players sometimes
What about: "I'm looking forward to the season and hopefully I can help the club move forward"? Simple and non-offensive
