I am sure that 99% of the current crop of Premiership loving 'fans' don't give a **** about the club name as long as Dr Allam continues to fund HIS club at ridiculously unsustainable levels with no chance of any return.

All the current crop care about is Stevie G and the like.

Just waiting for KO at Church Road as I type. The whole scenario is sad but true. Here's to the return of real football in the not too distant future.

Allam money is funding NF. They are living beyond their means and punching above their weight

Ferriby too have probably also acquired many new supporters who have latched onto the club now that money is being pumped in.

Church Rd is not 'real football' on that basis.

I'm afraid even this fantastic post (no, really) couldn't deflect from the fact that you missed the point.

You missed the point... as I did before he spared 20 minutes. We are so damned lucky to have a wealthy owner who happens to be passionate about the club but a club with a lot less revenue than it needs other than from his pocket. I much prefer the old badge to the new but who cares, it's still the club I support. Totally. Anyone who cares more about the name than seeing us compete, win like today and more fun days like Wembley, Zilina, etc needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

Servile genuflecting turds dazzled by money are the ones who need to take a long hard look at themselves.

Thats no way to speak about football players. Which is actually the point isn't it? Murdoch can change the rules, game times and every aspect of the game, players latch on to this and then the money becomes unreal, so it then attracts investors like Assem Allam.....but you still follow Hull City, did you celebrate Chesters goal or did you condemn him for taking a wage from Assem allam and Rupert Murdoch?

    * Really? (I think it's an investment, dressed up as a 'Gift to the People of Hull').

    * So - if Hull City was renamed as Kingston Kobras, you'd be happy? Because it's AA's money and he can do what he likes?

    Wise up, pal.

We are STILL Hull City AFC .

    The FA Said no.

Why are people falling out ?

I think the mods should delete insults thrown at people's wife's .

It's going to far in my opinion.

    Which isn't important I know that .

He's right in one thing. Our nickname is a powerful marketing tool in various places around the world, a lot more powerful than the name Hull City AFC. Don't tell me you don't like his ideas, tell him but if you can't back up your arguments with commercial grounds I wouldn't bother. Insults and slagging off which this board is full of and sentimental crap just makes him dismiss those involved as having nothing constructive to offer.
