That whole thing about names setting up children for future failures is such bollocks. It's correlation without causation. I used to teach in Leigh Park where there were plenty of kids with awful names. Those kids don't have their futures limited by their names, their future is limited by their parents bringing them in late every day as they wait to get their methadone dose (sadly a true story there).
