For the love of ****! Do you know anything about a big signing or nor you demented old Welsh ****!!!!!!
Costa Rica international Joel Campbell has been linked with a loan move away from Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger wants the forward to stay at Emirates Stadium. Wenger on @joel_campbell12: "I would like to keep him here, he has trained very well and matured a lot" #AFCvCPFC Time to put the Campbell loan moves to bed. I'm excited to see how he performs for us this season. I can see him make an impact for us this season off the bench.
There is a Twitter rumour that AS are saying that Madrid are making Khedira available for £8million as they don't want to lose him on a free transfer next year.
If it was that simple someone would have bought him by now. Either the stories about him asking for huge wages are true or he's holding out for a dream move to Bayern
Pod is wanted by a couple of Turkish and German Clubs for roughly 10 mn and apparently Reus is available this summer window, Coincidence?????? I really hope not. Okay back to reality - Realistically a Cb who can play Dm or vice versa seems likely to be are only transfer. Even at 8mn I don't think Wenger is interested in Khedira (he said as much). Is that enough?? Hopefully I would like -a cb, a dm, a wf/st (even if it meant getting rid of Pod ), ideally a cb and a dm. Realistically we will get a CM/DM (a player who can play both).
I certainly wouldn't complain if Wenger somehow managed to sign Cavani but I can't see Wenger paying £50million and 200k a week (conservative estimate by some accounts) for someone who will be 28 in February. I wouldn't be surprised if we went for someone like Reus but that seems unlikely this season. I'll be reasonably happy if we get another good, solid centre back in but I feel most of us want to see another central midfielder in the mould of Lars Bender/Carvalho/Khedira come in. Still over 2 weeks to go though so let's see what happens.
Twitter rumours that two media outlets in Greece called Sport 24 & Gazzeta are saying that Manolas is having a medical at Arsenal.
If that happens either Podolski is gone or he's moved permanently to the center. Hopefully the latter.
Hopefully this doesn't happen, Vargas is not what we need, is very very far from what need, and is not the top of signing that will take us up a next level, and he sure as hell isn't a better option than Podolski. This will be a nothing-useless signing if it happens.
