    Not even a ball kicked and he's done one...

    Get your money on Palace going down.

    Nice way to start the season, lot of tension with Parrish apparently, wanted more say in transfers etc, will be perched on the fence like a vulture waiting for the next manager to be sacked.

    Can understand why Parrish wanted him away from the transfers. Awful in the transfer market from his time at Stoke.

    He spent a lot of money at Stoke, quite a bit of which went on dross, but he's also responsible for them being a genuine premier league institution now, and I have no doubt he would have done the same for Palace. Don't understand this **** about managers just ****ing off because they don't get all the transfers they want. I mean, sure, if the chairman sells your best player and buys nobody (or players you don't want), and then tells you to achieve the same as last season, fair enough, but most of the time it just looks like petulance. Pulis isn't getting another premier league job, unless one of the newbies go the idiotic Cardiff route and decide to sack the manager, in which case he's a last resort.

    For all his faults, he's a good manager in my opinion.

    I can't speak for Palace fans, but if I were one and had a realistic set of ambitions, I'd be fcking gutted today and fairly furious that Parrish - who's been around whilst Palace have really, really struggled - and Moody put themselves above Pulis. Pulis kept them up, got them playing football and nearly got Pardew fired (so close to 10th they were!). Parrish has helped in taking them down, struggled to keep managerial stability. At what point does Parrish become accountable ahead of the manager? Interesting that the same problems that affect standard corporate business are creeping ever more steadily into football. Clueless people making ridiculous decisions, purely because they've got more money. Wonder what Max Keiser makes of it all.

    Nah they should all be like Pards and just accept the transfer situation. And a chubby 5inch hammering from Mikes cock to boot.

    <laugh>

    To be fair, too many managers seem to think they can carry on like they're Sir Alex Ferguson or Brian Clough. Unless you're that good, shut your trap and be glad you have a job like 90% of the supporters have to.

    All joking aside, this is true. Plus I think they should show some professional integrity. Most jobs have elements to them that are less than desirable.

    Also worth noting that #PardewForPalace has pretty much gone viral.

    Come on, Parrish, you know it makes sense. Let's see if Ashley shows the same determination to keep Pards as has been shown with Enrique, Cabaye and Debuchy.

    So who would people like to replace Pardew with if he does go to Palace?

    Personally, I'd give Moyes a go.

    Oooof, no thanks.

    I'd go for Nigel Pearson

    Pulis believes himself to be a good manager. He believes he is hamstrung by those above him. He walks. What can we deduce about Pardew's genuine self-belief in his managerial abilities if he's still with us???
