I thought I'd start a new thread, so the ticket availability situation didn't get lost among the other the ticket thread. Apparently, we've sold about 600 tickets so far, so it seems those who went to Zilina are taking up their options. It's likely that there will be around 500 tickets available for season ticket holders(and non-season ticket holders who went to Zilina) from tomorrow. It's not expected that any will make it to general sale.
The first plane is full and I've managed to get on a 29 seater! They're struggling to get another plane with it being bank holiday weekend! I was away for the first game so I can imagine that figure of 600 may be a lot higher?
Its probably a good thing they didn't book another plane so there will be a fair amount of tickets available to season ticket holders who want to travel independently.
Secured two this morning , though I went to trencin I didn't actually buy the tickets myself , just told the lass I was a season ticket holder and had got one and another by providing the address of the other season ticket holder. Didn't seem to require any real evidence that I had been to Slovakia so I think it's possible that you could ring up say you did go , even if you didn't, and get a ticket before they become available to all season ticket holders. Be a bastard if you did mind We' ll sell out by tomorrow no doubt , pity it's not in a bigger stadium, hopefully if we get through this round we can draw a team close enough with a capacity to allow us to take everyone who wants to go.
Got my ticket, don't give a monkeys about anyone else. Although I'm not allowed to go as my missus wears the trousers and I have to be at the mosque anyway. Any takers?
Fans queuing outside atm seen some saying 20 others saying 100. Got my 2 this morning, few mates going at 6 tomorrow reckon they will get tickets?
I would say about 70 people, I got here about 8 and I'm about 30th in the queue. Someone from the club was out here and said around 550 tickets left for tomorrow
My brother is queueing for me. Left him at about 10.pm. The queue had not increased much in the hour and a half I was there but anybody going in the morning better get there early. My brother is getting seven tickets in total. It does not take a Pythagoras to work out that if that order is repeated by others in the queue the tickets will be gone pretty quickly.
Or alternatively get a mate or two ringing ticket office same time as you at 08.59 hrs tomorrow so you triple your chances of getting through by phone.
Mate of mine has been in queue since 9pm and there were 35 in front of him. Texted me that someone in front of him was after 30 tickets. Not sure if club will let that happen or not. If you're not in the queue by now, there probably isn't much point in going.
Each person in the line shouldn't be allowed to buy more than 5 tickets each, regardless of how many peoples season passes they've got
Instead of making people queue or spend hours trying to get through on the phone lines they should just do a ****ing ballot, it's the only fair way. There could be a dole dosser or a student who's had a season pass bought for them who's got a proper chance of getting a ticket where a doctor or fireman may be on call and can't get it off so can't go. This first come first serve nonsense is ridiculous, not everyone has the luxury to queue overnight or spend all morning ringing a phone.
Thank you. Whoevers at the next supporters meeting should definitely raise this. As well as get some info on if/what kind of priority system will be used in the groups if we progress. These meetings are perfect for trying to get some common sense injected into these procedures.
