He is not saying that Bruce doesn't do them things but just stating the obvious points about his new club.

It is just the regular new signing receptive patter that players have to come out with.

 

1. Southampton do (maybe did) play a brand of football which seemed enjoyable.

2. Southampton usually played a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-3-3 last season, which would probably suit him.

3. Ronald Koeman will have a lot of knowledge about football.

Not sure what was wrong with what he said.

He was saying nice thing about City the other day:

Oh, ffs. Some of the drama-queenery on here at the moment is flabbergasting.

He was talking about Southampton and Koeman, not City and Bruce.

 

Must of read it wrong, he seemed to be disrepecting Bruce to me, but looks like im wrong

 

Let's face it Long is not going to say, "My wife wears the trousers in our household."

 

Let us all wait and see if this ^^^^^ is the case by december ? It could well be a long season for Long.

At least he has £65k a week to keep a smile on his face.

What's he supposed to say when a club has just bought him for £12M, and given him a 4 year deal worth an alleged £65K a week?

Of course he would say something like that.

I would dispute the "style of football" though. Did he forget they sold a lot of their first team from last season and the manager moved too? So what exactly is this style? I doubt it's the same style as last season.
