If you don't know, but in 2012, Lord McAlpine was accused, via social media sites , of being a kiddy fiddler. BBC and ITV were sued and settled out of court for about £500k just for repeating the accusations in their bulletins. Some famous individuals who repeated the accusations on Twitter were also sued, and they too settled out of court. McAlpine was in the process of suing some of the big fish on Twitter before he snuffed it. Some peeps on this site appear to be making the same accusations about other celebrities...be careful, you could also fall into the same trap as the McAlpine lynch mob.
