I dont think that Forster looks a snip at £10 though, but he should provide some comedy moments for the unfaithful at St.Fairy's ! <laugh> <laugh>

Yeah but James cost nearly 10 times less

My comments were merely to throw you off such an impressive stalwart of a defender who would add so much of the Southampton defence!

Have the Scummers REALLY paid £10mn for this joker, or more likely a tenner and as many pies that he can eat, which Tubby Lambo left ,when he went back to the Scousers in such a hurry?<laugh>

BC had a horse named after him a few years back. That won one race and was never as good again.

    12 million for Shane Long!

I don't get that at all.

I get the Shane Long part as we are light up front, the 12 million part scares me, but if Ross McCormack is worth 11 million it looks to be the going rate.
Just wondering if it is a smokescreen for another target.

Yep its a lot but we've got a lot and other clubs know it. He'd do a good job and will combine well with Pelle.

I should imagine all of the transfers this summer, incoming and outgoing are partly done in installments.

Tesco vouchers and Nectar points, Pompeys transfer pot.

We use those to save on our shopping, to have enough to go to FP. That's the real money right there.

I would have said Southampton had a rich entrepreneur's pot but now I'm not so sure.

Help us out Raymond, he's been stuffed from arse 'ole to beak.

    Received circa. £92 million......

    Spent circa. £52 million..........

I make that around £40 million for the Fraulein to trouser, at the present time.

That will buy her a lot of Sauerkraut and German sausage to make her evenings more pleasurable, and help out in her retirement :emoticon-0105-wink:
