Looks fantastic... 10mill and throw in Huddlestone just the for the cool track!......Dont know a massive amount about him so dunno if thats a good thing.Id rather have Long but that ship sailed i guess now.Could be a huge success story or could be a huge flop..dont see much middle ground with these types of championship signings..ie Billy Sharpe

looks a great number 9, dare I say a poor mans Aguero, looks pacy, strong upper body strength, small and stocky, looks well balanced, and has great composure in front of goal. the youtube clip of his goals last season, he can defo cut it in the Premier League with that finishing

    Yes thanks.

We've got enough players who are there to be creative, we need someone to stick the ball in the net.

Although I still think we need to replace RoKo

Terrific finisher. I do think £10M is way too much though, I wouldn't pay more than £7.5M.

Get real, i'm preparing for my socks to be blown off by this signing. Who else is better than we might stand a chance of getting?

I don't like Welbeck at all. But he would probably do a very good job for us.

That would really be a hell of a signing... I can see it being done between the clubs but surely he'll want to go to a 'bigger' club? I don't think he's quite Man U/England class but he'll be huge for us. I thought he was class against us at the KC, link up play was excellent. I hope I'm wrong but I think this may be a little too ambitious.

Edit: Link for anyone interested http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...hester-uniteds-danny-welbeck-transfer-4046635

Edit: I see the other thread is more the Welbeck one, ignore.

I think Welbeck would have to swallow too much pride to come to City. And would he play for England again? I think he'd rather eat s**t than play for us. But we did get Huddlestone.

If Welbeck doesn't move, he's going to struggle playing for England. I suspect he'll still get picked regardless of where he is, but his overall match fitness will be awful.

I know it's popular to claim that playing for us will stop him playing for England, but the reality is, if he did, and if he banged them in every week, he would be playing for England still.

Can't see it happening myself, but it's pretty awesome to just even be discussing it.

    What a ride.
