Everton spent all their money on Lukaku.

All those have strikers and you can't tell what their managers want. Like it or not this one could have some truth in it

    1. We can't afford him.
    2. We don't have £18 million to spend on ONE!!!! player.
    3. There a massive clubs after him and one of them wants him to play where Suarez did.
    4. Why would he leave Swansea to join us. It's a lateral step not a forward step?
    5. Why would he come to us when the big names are in for him?
    6. What water is there to test? It is common sense that it is a complete no starter.
    7. He signed for Swansea as his break through to the Premiership and a stepping stone to a big club.

Welbeck would be incredible, only problem is i wouldn't be able to leave the house due to the constant erection i'd have about it.

Makes me laugh that they think it will save Wellbecks England career if he comes here.
Don't they know that Woy doesn't do the M62?

In fact, the rest of the country should be praying they throw in Cleverley as a loan deal to us to end his England career too.

If Welbeck is a runner SB would have probably got tacit agreement before announcing Long.

Or it could just be he press jumping in as they have done with Deeney etc.

Didn't Rhodes recently sign a long term deal at BR? They'd want top $$$.....I'd prefer Troy Deeney, or even take a punt on Craig Mackail-Smith but all are untried at this level.... I'd think about Tim Cahill at LA Galaxy or wherever he's at..Or Clint Dempsey, both of whom could do a job, both had decent world cups and know the English game...I suspect we'll settle with the squad we've got then looked at it in January.

Welbeck to Hull City?! Why not?! At least we can offer him European football. Something Man Utd can't offer!

Did someone say Welbeck? Sorry, I can't hear you over my massive, throbbing erection!

Tears of joy! Manly tears of joy.

What a joke. Am I the only one who doesn't want us to sign Welbeck?

Welbeck would be an insane signing. Can't see it myself, but I said that about Hudd, Livermore, Jela, Long, Ince etc. Bruce has a habit of surprising me so hopefully he does with this one. The only top 10 club I could see wanting him are Spurs and maybe Newcastle.
