At this stage of the season, signing Redmond would scream panic buy. However, he's a better option than Isgrove on the wing.
It'd scream "panic buy" if we hadn't been apparently after him for ages. And honestly I don't know if he's that much better than Isgrove.
A panic buy is rushed into and pay over the top. We have been looking at Remond for a while, so it's not a panic buy.
What's the reported fee? Maybe we won't play wingers and see Redmond as a different option, back up and depth. I'm sure there are loads of players that we have looked at that have not been reported so I see this as a panic buy.
Koeman will definitely play wingers, but I'm hoping they're wingers with more than one dimension, such as Rodriguez and Tadic, and not just sprinters like Redmond. Even Long would be a far better option as a wide man.
Pretty much. I think he's decent on FM and he's certainly very useful on FIFA though so it's not all bad.
Wingers in the Lallana, Ramirez and Tadic type mold or Pacy wingers type mold. Now that is the question, which would he prefer if he had the choice do you think?
Haven't seen any of Lazio's games for a long time, but I hear good things and his stats last season were impressive.
Was mentioned yesterday, I think. My friend who's a Lazio fan really rates him as a winger/wingback. Would be a solid addition IMO.
I think he could play the Isgrove role well. My friend says he works really hard getting back and helping out in defence which is a plus. Lulic, Pelle/Long, Tadic could be a front three.
Someone I know that knows someone that knows a Burnley physio (that's a mouthful) told me today that Ings has had issues at his post-summer medical. Now whether that is anything to do with our interest cooling I'm not so sure, but it is something to bear in mind. My friend is also very sure that Vlaar has signed a new deal at villa. (He is kind of ITK about villa stuff).
