It's a bit of a silly price, but reading through all the many reactions on the Hull board, I think he's going to be a good signing for us.

I had an excited phone call from a Newcastle fan, telling me he wished Newcastle were signing Long. I agree with your post LTL. Wrong price, not Hernandez (though similar style) and could turn out ok for us.

 

And yes, 'to Pardew' is a recognised verb these days.
