.......................Nelson..................... ........Hause......Egan......Legge......... Dickenson..Dack..Loft..Pritchard..McGlashan ..................Norrris......German............. Just need to except our defence is pants and try to outscore them.
I've been critical of our defence but surely we have to try and give them more of a chance especially in a cup that nobody cares about. I'd go for Morris Martin legge Egan hare Dickenson Dack hessnethaler Pritchard mcglashan Norris
Got a feeling that with Cody out, Young Norris is going to hit the ground running. Think he might be our most natural finisher if we can get him in and around the danger areas. COYG
Firstly apologies for saying Nelson instead of Morris, Nelson has always been a constant it's just automatic to put his name down. As for the rest it was a bit tongue in cheek, PT has already made it obvious that Hare will be included and Pritchard has posted on twitter that he's included. With Yeovil losing 3 - 0 on Saturday both teams have shown they can concede goals so should make for an interesting 0 - 0 bore draw. Just out of interest we are tied with Huddersfield for the worst defensive record in the league so far, plenty of time to improve but it needs to start now.
Think it will be a fairly young side tonight. I'm going to predict this: Morris Hare Davies Egan Martin Dack Pritchard Loft Dickenson German Norris. Think PT doesn't want it to be too similar to his team on Saturday so will probably give people like Legge, Kedwell and McGlashan a rest.
So we are 1 up at half time. Dickenson 23 minute. Looks like we are playing a 541 formation with Norris the lone striker.
It's been 5 - 4 - 1 defending but changes to 3 - 5 - 2 in attack, Hare and Martin playing as wing backs, Dickenson going forward with Norris. Just need to hold on to it now, Glen Morris has made one good save and Legge cleared off the line.
Tonight after the Coventry v Cardiff game. I`m pleased we have won the game and are in the next round, where we can get a Premier League side not in Europe.Yeovil did sound like they had quite a bit of the ball, but luck was on our side tonight.A mix up from their keeper and defender which allowed Dickenson to slot in to an empty net. They equalised with a rocket, and then not long after we scored a belter ourselves from Aaron Morris who got the winning goal.It was good to hear that Glenn Morris made a few good saves as that will give him some much needed confidence. I didn`t think we would go through, but i`m very pleased we have gone through. Most importantly this should give us a bit of confidence for the League game on Saturday.
I hear there were 6 players U21 in our starting X1. That's got to be a good thing. And good that such a young side can scrap its way to an away win against a fellow div1 team.
5 mins highlights now on the OS. Superb strike from Morris and great ball from Loft, one that i doubt any other player on the pitch would have had the vision to play, other than Dack possibly. Also an absolute wonder save from Morris in goal too. Onwards & Upwards
Have been taking a look at the Yeovil reaction to this result and there appears to be some grumbling about the red card. From the footage I've seen, the tackle is made on the opposite side of the pitch but there is a resounding noise upon contact. Good result, great strike from Morris (although I hope our players are always awarded that much space) and good pressing work from Dickenson. Let's hope we snatch a big name home draw this evening to look forward to!
